The Role - Kitchen Steward

The Kitchen Steward is responsible to perform basic kitchen duties as requested by the Chief Steward or Head Chef, including:

  • General washing up
  • Cleaning of kitchen equipment
  • Cleaning of kitchen surrounds
  • Deep cleaning
  • Hourly pay rate: Mon-Fri - $31.19 / Sat - $37.43 / Sun - $43.66 / Public Holiday - $62.38

This position is a casual role, with ongoing shifts.

About You

  • Prior experience in a kitchen environment with knowledge of food hygiene
  • A responsible person who shows initiative
  • An eye for detail
  • Hard working, physically fit and reliable - able to lift 10-15kgs comfortably
  • Good communication skills
  • In possession of a valid working visa, with availability to work weekdays
